We publish original writing centred on themes of otherness, identity and the liminal spaces between isolation and connection, perception and experience.

Liminal Press

Liminal Press is a Cardiff-based journal and community dedicated to original writing that explores identities, transitions and perceptions from the edges of experience.

We celebrate the introspective and the psychologically-charged, and we champion writing from Wales and beyond concerned with otherness, isolation, internal landscapes and moral ambiguity.

We welcome submissions that explore the sensory and the atmospheric, the emotionally complex and the slightly off-centre, whether it is literary fiction, creative non-fiction, essays or poetry.

Submissions are open on a rolling basis, plus we open submissions windows for our print journal and competitions twice per year. We also invite writers to join us on a global walk and write. See our submissions page for full details.
